Mr. Cramblit was born in 1960, raised and the majority of his education was in the State of Ohio. Mr. Cramblit was born of Irish Catholic decent and grew up mainly in the cities of Columbus and Lancaster Ohio. Further, Mr. Cramblit was born into a family of workaholic parents where his mother, a somewhat feared business woman and a father that was Senior Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy where he enjoyed boxing in the Navy flying battleships to battleship boxing while stationed in the North Atlantic Ocean. Oddly, yet tough as nails, he was the one everyone preferred doing business with however, he would refer them to Connie, my mother and vendors were not happy having to do business with her. Mr. Cramblit parents never worked for any others as Entrepreneurs owning and operating restaurants, hotels always adding a steakhouses and bars or stand alone steakhouse and bars in the 40’s and 50’s. Later in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s they moved into real estate and housing construction.
Mr. Cramblit as the youngest sibling, while in Catholic school, the business employee’s were mainly Mr. Cramblit’s friends maintaining one or two friend’s at school. Later, he left the Catholic school system for public schools, played football and worked as his mother required. Mr. Cramblit had to pay rent at age 16 when he got his first job. It wasn’t much but it served as life training that nothing free. Meanwhile, his three older brother’s already launched into businesses of their own unrelated respectively unconnected to the parents. Mr. Cramblit went on to secure a BS in Marketing and later a MS in Economics and moving to Miami in the infant cable TV industry with only 9 cable channels available. Recognized for relentless drive while married and finishing school, a bet with a tough Polish owner of Americable and Miami Cablevision Mr. Cramblit won the performance bet at age 20 and was promoted into Sales Management. During this time Mr. Cramblit was quietly studying for the Stockbroker’s Series 7 and Series 63. As he finish school, sponsored by a North Miami Broker-Dealer with 1,100 investment bankers/stockbrokers Nationwide and as he relentlessly studied Sales Strategies, listening to every cassette tape on sales in Miami traffic everyday, he rose up to, and ranged from number 10 to number 18 out of 1,100 investment bankers/stockbroker again with ano survivors mentality with no fear selling stocks over the phone from the east coast by day and west coast by evening. Mr. Cramblit secured shipping industrialist, large restaurant franchise owners and Union money managers. At a young age he averaged “monthly” commissions of +/- US$ 42,000 again, monthly in his early to mid 20’s. Mr. Cramblit worked with firms like Merrill Lynch, Josephthal, Lyon & Ross, etc.for +/-13 years studying and passing the Series 24, (GS) the Series 27 (FINOP) and the Series 4 (OP). NOW FOR HIS FIRST GREAT FAILURE. At age 27, in 1987 he signed leases in the Capital Bank building in Miami and opened his own investment banking/stock brokerage operation. The new office was complete in August 1987, the market was hot. WELL, after a couple good months, BLACK MONDAY October 19, 1987 came. Client’s feared trading and the short story bankrupted in Miami Federal Court in January 1988. The better part, he made considerable money back that same year in 1988, even to this day. Meanwhile, Mr. Cramblit’s second marriage was to a PanAm/Delta flight attendant which allowed him to travel Europe, England, France, the Mediterranean to Greece on
to South America from Miami. Now for the Next Great Chapter eventually attempting to move away from the High Risk stock trading Mr. Cramblit created and funded Miami’s Original Gourmet Cookie Company, Inc.and Florida’s Original Gourmet Cookie Company in Pink and Aqua Designs with Palm Trees on the initial packaging (during the Miami Vice era) securing packaging from a Hialeah based bag company. THIS WAS THE FIRST LOOK INTO PACKAGING PRODUCTION however, after 2 years and just reaching profitability, HURRICANE ANDREW came and Destroyed the South Miami Food Grade approved Bakeries. The corporation had $ 3 million liability policies for baked products HOWEVER, only $ 25,000 for facilities. Well, that did not cover the rebuild on the Food Grade Bakeries. Meanwhile,
Mr. Cramblit returned to the investment banking / stock brokerage industry YET saw an opportunity as the Hialeah bag factory was failing in business during a buyout secured the packing customer list and once again while contacting packaging customers from a Josephthal, Lyon & Ross NYSE brokerage firm Mr. Cramblit came to found Signature Packaging Group USA in Fort Lauderdale/Coral Springs, Florida. TODAY, the companies have production in Taichung, Taiwan, Bucheon City, South Korea and Qingdao, China for film and foil bags and pouches and polylined paper wire tie production in California, Pennsylvania and Florida.
